Champs City Academy Announces Resumption of Camping Programme

Champs City is excited to announce the official resumption of its much-anticipated holiday camping programme, set to commence on 6 September 2025. After a period of careful planning and preparation, the academy is ready to welcome students back to camp for an intensive 2 weeks of learning, bonding, and adventure before the new academic session begins in about a fortnight.

This year’s camp will take place at our team base, St. Patrick College, Emene, in Enugu State, Nigeria. The camping will feature a blend of educational activities, technical sessions, physical development sessions, leadership training, and recreational experiences—all carefully designed to align with the academy’s whole-person walk-to-stardom concept.

Odinaka Iloh, the Club President, expressed enthusiasm about the camping’s commencement:
“Camping has always been on the cards for a while now because we consider it an integral part of our overall talent development framework. It’s designed to provide our Junior Champs with the opportunity to grow and develop, both professionally and academically, socially, and more. It also offers them a good chance to understand the Club better.”

Jude Agada, the Football Manager and Coach, also expressed his excitement about working with the boys in camp for a couple of weeks. He said, “The camping allows me to continue to help the boys develop their technical abilities, build resilience, develop teamwork, and deepen their sense of responsibility. It is also a good time for me to look at a few invited talents.”

The academy assures parents and guardians that measures have been taken to create a safe, secure, and enriching environment for the duration of the camping.

Parents and guardians are advised to ensure that their wards are healthy and fully prepared with the necessary materials for the camping and for the forthcoming academic session.

We look forward to an impactful and memorable camping experience as we continue to nurture the next generation of elite athletes.
